Application Engineer I – Multiphysics System Analysis

Cadence Design Systems is looking for a candidate to join the Multiphysics System Analysis (MSA) team as a full-time engineer focused on signal/power integrity and electromagnetic simulations.

If you like to architect and develop solutions for challenging problems in a fast and innovative paced environment, using state of the art technology this is a great opportunity.

The Candidate will be trained on the Cadence Sigrity tool set, working with state-of-the-art complex PCBs, packages and interposers designs.

Understanding competitive technologies is a plus.

Ability to understand schematic, layout, interposers, integrated components.

RequirementsComplete Bachelors Electrical, Electronics, System Engineering, Computer Science or related areasExcellent written and verbal communication skillsInterest in learning new technologiesOpen to continued personal development to meet the evolving demands of the EDA industryNice To HavePrevious experience with Package or PCB DesignKnowledge of EDA industry, Signal and Power IntegrityElectromagnetics, and RF related to IC Package and PCB Design are desirableKnowledge of computational techniques (FEM, FDTD, MoM)Ability to present and clearly articulateKnowledge of scripting programming languages such as Tcl, Perl, Python, bash, cshAdditional Job DetailsEmployment category: CLTEmployment term: 40 hours/week.
