About the RoleWe are looking for a strong Backend Developer to join our team and take ownership of the services that power our proprietary analytics, optimization, and data products.

You will design, build, and maintain the backend systems that our analysts, data scientists, and clients rely on every day.

This is a high-ownership role with real impact from day one.

You will work independently on meaningful problems — from designing APIs and microservices to shipping new product capabilities — while collaborating closely with data engineers, data scientists, and product leads.

What You’ll DoDesign, build, and maintain production backend services, APIs, and microservices that power our data and marketing products.

Own features end-to-end — from technical design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

Partner with data engineers and data scientists to productize analytical and AI/LLM-based workflows.

Write clean, well-tested Python code and contribute to engineering best practices across the team.

Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of our backend systems.

Work closely with product and analytics stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

RequirementsMust-HavesStrong backend engineering experience — proven track record building and running production services, APIs, and microservices.

GCP or other cloud infrastructure experience.

Strong Python — you are fluent in Python and comfortable using it for non-trivial backend systems.

Senior or strong mid-level — you have taken production ownership of services and features in previous roles.

Independent operator — comfortable working with minimal hand-holding, making pragmatic technical decisions, and driving work forward.

Availability — able to start quickly.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus, Not a Filter)Experience with AI workflows and LLM-based implementations.

Background in data science or experience working on data products.

Data pipeline experience.
