Role: Senior Backend Engineer (Java + SAP Commerce Cloud) Location: Remote Short-Duration Project Industry: E-commerce Team: International and Multidisciplinary We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Java and SAP Commerce Cloud experience to join an international e-commerce project within the beauty and professional haircare industry.

This is a short-term engagement with high impact, working on a modern digital commerce ecosystem supporting a globally recognized premium brand.

You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing and optimizing backend services that power large-scale e-commerce platforms.

The project focuses on scalability, performance, and integration within a microservices-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities • Design and develop backend services within SAP Commerce Cloud environments

•Build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot • Contribute to architecture decisions and propose optimal technical solutions

•Work closely with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies • Ensure high-quality code through testing, CI/CD pipelines and best development practices

•Support integration across the e-commerce ecosystem and backend platforms Tech Stack • Java

•⚙️ Spring Boot Microservices • SAP Commerce Cloud

•Gitflow • Jenkins / CI-CD Pipelines

•JUnit / TestNG / Mockito • Docker

•☸️ Kubernetes • Maven / Gradle

•Debugging / Profiling / Code Coverage Tools Requirements • Strong backend development experience with Java

•Proven experience working with SAP Commerce Cloud in e-commerce environments • Solid understanding of microservices architecture

•Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Experience with containerization technologies
