Objective of the role We are looking for a Backend Engineer to take ownership of a mission-critical backend system that powers key capabilities across the organisation.

This is a live, production system used every day, and it continues to evolve.

You’ll be responsible for keeping it robust and secure, while also driving its evolution - adding new features, improving existing behaviour, and helping it scale as platform needs grow.

Collaborating closely with product and frontend teams, you'll have the opportunity to innovate and implement cutting-edge backend technologies to help build the future of Open Data here at Raidiam.

Key responsibilities:

In the first 3 months, you’ll focus on maintaining and improving existing functionality, with support from the broader platform team. • 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams on production-grade systems
