Requisitos

• Experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on financial services and Python / PySpark
• Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX expressions, and report/dashboard development
• Expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing data pipelines
• Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, optimizing database performance, and creating stored procedures and functions
• Experience with Azure cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Blob Storage
• Familiarity with financial concepts and terminology, including accounting principles, financial modeling, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsabilidades

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data pipelines, creating visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI, and optimizing data storage and retrieval processes
• As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, driving informed decision-making across the organization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data solutions tailored to the needs of the financial services industry
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse, ensuring data quality and integrity
• Design and implement data models, including dimensional and star schema designs, to support reporting and analytics requirements
• Create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, providing stakeholders with actionable insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes, leveraging Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Blob Storage
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to manipulate and analyze large datasets efficiently
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, Power BI, and Azure cloud services, and recommend best practices for data management and visualization
