Data Scientist | $15/hr | Remote

Position: Data Analyst / Data Scientist

Type: Short-Term Contract

Compensation: $15 per hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 40 hours/week with 6 hours overlap with PST

Role Responsibilities

• Define and design realistic data infrastructure environments for AI benchmark projects
• Create and review BigQuery schemas, SQL queries, event taxonomies, and metric definitions
• Build realistic data artifacts that reflect real-world analyst workflows and product analytics systems
• Debug and analyze data quality issues across datasets and reporting systems
• Ensure technical accuracy and consistency in data models and benchmark artifacts
• Work with product event data and analytics tracking patterns
• Explain discrepancies between dashboards and metrics through structured analysis
• Contribute to AI benchmark development using realistic analytical workflows and datasets

Requirements

• Strong years of experience in data analytics or data science
• Strong SQL skills including complex queries, CTEs, and window functions
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling including fact and dimension tables
• Experience with product event data platforms such as Segment, Amplitude, or Mixpanel
• Experience working with BigQuery
• Familiarity with data quality challenges and methods to resolve them
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
