About The Role

We are looking for a DevOps Lead responsible for bridging software development, QA, operations, and security teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery.

The role focuses on designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure and deployment processes, managing cloud environments, and improving system reliability and scalability.

The DevOps Lead oversees deployment lifecycle management, infrastructure automation, cloud operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting while ensuring best practices in security, performance, and availability. This role also mentors junior engineers and collaborates closely with developers and cross-functional teams to streamline software delivery and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end to end deployment lifecycle of applications and services.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, tests, and deployment processes.
• Automate operational and development workflows using scripting and infrastructure as code tools.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Monitor system performance and scaling, application availability, and infrastructure health across environments.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure secure and reliable deployments.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application related issues in production and staging environments.
• Support distributed microservices based architectures and containerized applications.
• Manage databases, queuing systems, and logging/monitoring solutions.
• Implement infrastructure security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and industry trends.
• Mentor and guide DevOps engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.
• Be available to support scheduled deployments, maintenance windows, and critical production issues during off hours, weekends, or irregular hours when required.
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes administration using kubectl and GitOps based deployments using Argo CD.
  
  

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and release management.

Proven hands on experience with pipeline automation tools and deployment orchestration.

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Kubernetes (AKS).

Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and like wise tools like python.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Experience with reverse proxy and load balancing technologies such as NGINX or Traefik.

Familiarity with log management and observability platforms.

Experience with security focused DevOps practices (DevSecOps).

Strong understanding of high availability infrastructure design, redundancy, failover strategies, load balancing, and disaster recovery best practices.

Nice to have

Experience with Kafka, Couchbase, HAProxy, Apache, and Tomcat.

Experience with MSSQL Server, NoSQL databases, and Pub/Sub queuing technologies.

Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates, certificate renewal processes, and secure communication across cloud environments.

Experience with Cloudflare services including DNS management, CDN, SSL/TLS configuration, caching, WAF, and security optimization
