Embedded Linux Engineer at BairesDevAs an Embedded Linux Engineer, you will build custom Linux distributions for embedded devices to meet specific hardware requirements.

You will ensure seamless integration between hardware and software, creating robust and optimized board support packages to power next-generation IoT and industrial solutions.

What You'll Do Design and develop custom Linux distributions using Yocto Project or Buildroot for various hardware architectures.

Create and maintain Board Support Packages (BSPs) to ensure hardware-software compatibility.

Configure and optimize the Linux kernel and bootloaders for specific embedded systems.

Manage cross-compilation toolchains and build environments for consistent software delivery.

Debug and resolve low-level system issues related to drivers, memory management, and system performance.

Collaborate with hardware teams to define system requirements and validate device functionality.

What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Embedded Systems or Linux Engineering.

Proven expertise in building custom Linux distributions using Yocto Project or Buildroot.

Proficiency in creating and maintaining board support packages (BSPs).

Hands-on experience with cross-compilation toolchains and embedded software development.

Deep understanding of the Linux kernel and hardware-software integration.

Advanced proficiency in English.
