AI Engineer / Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Job Title: AI Engineer / Artificial Intelligence Engineer DOD (Dept of Defense) / Department of War (DOW) projects ship required due to program access requirements.

Must be eligible to obtain DOD Clearance Duration: up to 12 months Contract with possible extensions Location: Remote Work Work Schedule: 4/10 – 1st Shift, Monday to Thursday; 10 hours per day Pay Rate: $120/hr - $130/hr on W2 [the pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications] Featured Benefits: · Medical Insurance in compliance with the ACA · 401(k) · Sick leave in compliance with applicable state, federal, and local laws Job Description: · Design, develop, and deploy a fully functional chatbot tailored to our needs. · Iterate on the chatbot based on feedback, ensuring a polished and effective end product. · Design, develop, and deploy Agentic AI apps to automate data engineering practices using the latest Gen AI models. · Breakdown complex AI ideas into digestible lessons, empowering beginners to contribute meaningfully to the project. · Collaborate with a small team of AI learners, providing hands-on mentorship and fostering their growth in AI concepts, tools, and best practices.

Skills Required: · Highly Motivated · Agentic Framework and Skills: o Building AI agents o Tandem and parallel models o IBM Orchestrate (optional) · Strong knowledge of Python and the following Libraries: o Scikit libraries o TensorFlow o Open AI o PANDAS o Regex Patterns o Flask (optional) o Requests (optional) · Experiencing differentiating between data models (example meta vs openai) based on project requirements · Experience with Prompt engineering o Write things clearly for AI to understand o Input standardization to help with RAG · Experience with Natural Language Processing o Best practices for tokenization and chunking o Vector Datastores · Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (Git & Gitlab) · Experience deploying scalable AI models · Strong knowledge of RDBMS (e.g.

SAP HANA, DB2, SQL Server) · Strong understanding of SQL. · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Ability to thrive in a face-paced, collaborative environment.
