Infrastructure Engineer | $70/hr Remote

Position: Systems & Infrastructure SpecialistType: Hourly contractCompensation: $40 - $70/hourLocation: RemoteCommitment: 10 40 hours/weekRole ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and recover infrastructure issues using terminal-based tools.

Manage and optimize containerized environments and CI/CD workflows.

Build and maintain systems supporting AI model training and compute workloads.

Execute real-time problem-solving and recovery for long-running processes.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and performance.

Document system architectures, incidents, and recovery procedures clearly.

Adapt to evolving infrastructure needs and implement scalable solutions.

RequirementsStrong experience working in terminal environments for system administration.

Expertise in troubleshooting and managing containerized systems.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or Rust.

Strong understanding of build systems, databases, and web infrastructure.

Ability to handle dynamic system recovery and high-pressure scenarios.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
