We are looking for a proactive mid-level DevOps engineer to join our migration squad. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring a smooth technical transition between environments. You will be responsible for ensuring automation, infrastructure standardization, and operational excellence within our defined architecture.
Responsibilities
- Standardize and provision cloud infrastructure to support migration workstreams.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable delivery.
- Prepare and configure landing zones and target environments for migrated applications.
- Implement robust monitoring and logging strategies (CloudWatch, Grafana, App Insights) to ensure post-migration stability.
- Provide technical support for migration tools, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Perform operational validation and integration testing within the new cloud architecture.
- Proficiency in EC2 (Auto Scaling), App Runner, S3, and networking (VPC, Subnets, NAT, ALB/NLB, Route 53).
- Hands-on experience with EKS or ECS (AWS) and AKS (Azure).
- Experience with VMs (Scale Sets), App Services, and Azure SQL (Elastic Pools/Hyperscale).
- Familiarity with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Storage Accounts, and Service Bus.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) and Database Migration Service (DMS).
- Knowledge of AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) for database compatibility
- Advanced usage of GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience setting up CloudWatch, X-Ray, Managed Grafana, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for task automation.
- Previous experience in large-scale Lift-and-Shift or Refactoring migration projects.
