Position: Node.js Data Engineer (TypeScript) Location: Remote – Brazil Job Type: Contract About the Role We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js and TypeScript , along with experience in data engineering, database management, and data modeling .

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions that support business and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Node.js and TypeScript .

•Design, implement, and maintain databases and data pipelines . • Perform data modeling, data transformation, and system integrations .

•Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and software engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability .

•Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards .

Required Skills & Experience • 6+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript .

•Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling . • Strong understanding of APIs, backend architecture, and data integration patterns .

•Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment .

•Excellent communication skills in English or Portuguese .

Preferred Skills • Experience with ETL pipelines and data warehousing solutions .

•Familiarity with GraphQL or REST API development . • Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance .
