React Native App — Device Testing, Polish & App Store Submission (iOS + Android)

We have a fully built React Native CLI home configurator app for our residential construction company in South Carolina.

The app is functionally complete — all screens, navigation, API integration, state management, and business logic are built.

We need an experienced React Native developer to do device testing on real hardware, fix platform-specific issues, configure signing and certificates, and handle the full submission process to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

This is NOT a build-from-scratch project.

The app is built and running.

We need someone who has submitted React Native apps to both stores and knows how to get them approved on the first try.

ABOUT THE APP: - React Native CLI (NOT Expo) — TypeScript - React Navigation for routing - Zustand for state management - Consumes a REST API backend (Next.js) — ~48 API routes, ~80 HTTP handlers - JWT-based authentication - ~50+ screens across the buyer flow - Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging - Signature capture for contract signing - The app allows homebuyers to select a floor plan, configure upgrades with live pricing across 5 categories, make 100+ design selections (colors, materials, finishes) through a 10-step wizard, select a lot, and digitally sign a purchase contract — all with real-time price calculations and auto-save TECH STACK: - React Native CLI (latest) - TypeScript strict mode - React Navigation 6 - Zustand 5 - react-native-keychain (auth token storage) - @react-native-firebase/messaging (push notifications) - @react-native-community/netinfo (offline detection) - react-native-signature-canvas (contract signing) - react-native-gesture-handler (image zoom, swipe) - Both iOS and Android targets WHAT WE NEED: 1.

Device Testing & Bug Fixes - Test on physical iOS devices (iPhone 13+ and iPad) - Test on physical Android devices (various screen sizes and OS versions) - Identify and fix any platform-specific rendering issues - Fix any navigation, keyboard, or gesture issues on real hardware - Test the full user flow end-to-end: signup → intake → plan selection → upgrade configuration → elevation → design selections → lot selection → contract signing 2.

App Store Preparation - Configure iOS code signing (certificates, provisioning profiles, entitlements) - Configure Android signing (keystore, release build) - Set up app icons for all required sizes (iOS + Android) - Configure splash screens for both platforms - Set up proper Info.plist and AndroidManifest.xml for production - Create screenshots for App Store (6.7", 6.5", 5.5" iPhones + iPad) and Play Store - Write App Store and Play Store listing copy (we'll provide the marketing content, you format it to store requirements) 3.

Submission & Approval - Submit to Apple App Store via App Store Connect - Submit to Google Play Store via Play Console - Handle any rejection responses and resubmit - Ensure compliance with both stores' current guidelines - Configure TestFlight for iOS beta testing before final submission - Configure internal testing track for Android before final submission 4.

Handoff - Document the signing certificates and where they're stored - Document the build and release process so we can do future updates ourselves - Provide Fastlane configuration (or equivalent) for automated builds WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE: - Apple Developer account (or will have one set up before work begins) - Google Play Developer account (or will have one set up before work begins) - Complete source code in a private Git repository — you'll get full access - The backend API is live and functional - App icons and branding assets (logo, color palette, fonts) - Design system: Navy #1B2A4A, Gold #C9A84C, Cream #F8F6F0, Playfair Display + Source Sans 3 TIMELINE: We expect this to take 1-2 weeks for an experienced developer.

We're targeting submission within 3 weeks of starting.

BUDGET: $40-$75/hour.

Estimated 20-40 hours total depending on how many platform-specific issues surface during testing.
