[Remote] AI Engineer (1-3 years)

Requisitos

• You ship using AI-native tools - Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent are part of your daily workflow, not occasional assists
• You can take a business problem with no tech spec and turn it into a working solution
• You're comfortable with databases and APIs - you've built integrations, worked with SQL or Postgres, and know how to move data reliably between systems
• You think in systems - architecture, data integrity, and maintainability matter to you
• You write clean code that someone else (or future you) will want to work with
• You're comfortable in ambiguity and energized by ownership
• Experience level matters less than output

Responsabilidades

• The AI Engineer will work alongside the Founding AI Lead and VP of Ecommerce, Finance & Operations to develop AI-native solutions that enhance business processes and decision-making
• Data infrastructure - one source of truth for the entire business
• Every data source - commerce, production, financials, etc. - consolidated into a clean, scalable layer the whole team can easily query and trust
• Financial tooling - get the team out of Google Sheets
• Automated forecasting and planning tools that are real-time and actually reflect how the business moves
• Operational automation - agents that run the business while no one's watching
• Inventory restocking, workflow triggers, exception handling - if it's repetitive, it shouldn't require a human
