Remote in Brazil - Senior DevOps & Cloud/SRE

We're looking for a Senior DevOps & Cloud/SRE Engineer to build and optimize secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure for clients in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

You'll work closely with a major client in the cloud communications industry, managing and optimizing AWS-based infrastructure.

The role involves using containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices, as well as strong Linux troubleshooting skills.

You'll collaborate directly with the client and development teams to refine requirements, resolve issues, and improve system performance.

Knowledge of reverse proxies and request routing (e.g., Nginx, Dispatcher).

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, or similar solutions).

Strong experience with Linux environments, including scripting (Bash, Python, Go, etc.) and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, CloudFormation), preferably Terraform.

Good understanding of system security, networking concepts, and automation practicesNice to HaveBasic knowledge of AEM and Cloud ManagerFamiliarity with observability and monitoring tools in AWS (e.g., Athena, Grafana)Experience setting up infrastructure for small AI-generated applicationsKnowledge of TypeScriptResponsabilitiesSolid ability to manage databases effectively, perform updates, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecksDesign, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) to ensure scalability, reliability, and performanceTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring stability through well-defined short-, mid-, and long-term solutions Extensive experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and GitOps automation practicesPromote and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or PulumiCollaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systemsImplement and maintain security best practices, including secrets management, identity access control, and vulnerability scanningIdentify and address performance bottlenecks and production incidents to ensure system reliability and uptimeAdvocate for automation, observability, and DevOps culture across client and internal projectsContinuously explore and recommend emerging technologies to enhance Stack Builders' and clients' operational excellenceThe projected hourly range for this position is $45.00 to $50.00, determined by the candidate's interview outcome, skills, experience, education, and alignment with market data.
