Requisitos

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• At least 5 years experience in backend development
• A rock-solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including complex data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and network protocols (TCP/UDP)
• Proven professional experience with Rust
• We are also open to experts in Go or C++ who are eager to master Rust in a production environment
• Experience with Linux internals, performance profiling, and debugging complex distributed systems
• An innovative mindset with a 'built-to-last' philosophy
• You are a fast learner who stays ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing tech landscape
• Deep experience with Functional Programming (e.g., OCaml, Erlang, Elixir, or Haskell)
• Prior experience in the financial or trading industry (FinTech)
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong presence in the systems programming community

Responsabilidades

• As a Senior Backend Developer, you will architect the high-performance foundations that power real-time securities trading and tackle challenges related to concurrency and system reliability
• Architect & Build : Design and implement the core infrastructure platform that supports our US securities trading system
• Collaborate : Partner with cross-functional business and product teams to translate complex trading requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Optimize for Performance : Continuously refine code and system architecture to achieve micro-millisecond latency and high throughput, ensuring our traders have a competitive edge
• Ensure Resilience : Maintain and improve system stability and high availability ($99.99%+$), implementing robust monitoring and failover strategies
• Modernize : Contribute to the evolution of our tech stack, advocating for best practices in systems programming and infrastructure-as-code
