Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (CLT – Brazil | 100% Remote)

We are a US-based IT consulting firm with 30+ years of experience delivering solutions to global clients. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to work directly with a US customer and distributed teams across the US and Latin America.

This role is fully remote (Brazil) and requires strong English communication skills.

What you will do:

• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines (Java, frontend, Appian)
• Build pipeline-as-code using GitHub Actions, YAML, and/or Jenkins
• Define and enforce GitHub standards (branching strategies, PR templates, code ownership)
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Work with Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
• Integrate security into pipelines (SAST, dependency scanning, secrets management)
• Enable observability (logging, metrics, tracing – Datadog or similar)
• Ensure compliance and consistency across environments

What we are looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (production environments)
• Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins)
• Practical experience with Kubernetes
• Deep understanding of Git and modern development workflows
• Experience integrating security and testing into pipelines
• English proficiency for direct interaction with US-based teams

Nice to have:

• OpenShift experience
• Datadog or similar observability tools
• Helm, Kustomize
• Experience in regulated environments
• Exposure to Appian deployments
