Senior Full Stack Developer - (Vue / Node.js)

About the role We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to help strengthen and expand a real-time communications platform used every day by the business.

This person will step into an existing production environment, work through active issues, improve platform reliability, and help push new functionality into production quickly.

The work touches both frontend and backend systems tied to inbound and outbound call activity, routing logic, internal buffering, operational tooling, and live user workflows.

This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving real production problems, working across the stack, and making meaningful contributions without a lot of hand-holding.

Where you’ll make an impact Get up to speed quickly in an existing multi-service production platform Investigate and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and third-party integrations Deliver new features at a high pace while keeping stability and maintainability in mind Improve systems that support real-time call flows, routing behavior, and internal buffering Build and refine interfaces used for live operations and communication workflows Develop backend services, APIs, and platform functionality tied directly to business performance Help improve visibility, reliability, and overall behavior in a live production environment Contribute to engineering decisions and help raise execution standards across the team Tools and environment Frontend: Vue 3, TypeScript, Vite, Pinia, Vue Router Backend: Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Express Real-time / Communications: Socket.

IO, WebRTC, browser based calling with Twilio/Sinch/similar system Infrastructure / Services: AWS, Redis, RabbitMQ / AMQP, PM2 Monitoring / Error Tracking: Sentry What we’re looking for 5+ years of experience as a full stack software developer Strong backend experience with Node.js Strong frontend experience with Vue, or strong experience with a modern frontend framework and the ability to work confidently in a Vue codebase Experience working in existing production systems, not only creating from scratch Ability to troubleshoot across the stack and solve real-world issues efficiently Experience shipping features quickly in fast-moving environments Strong instincts around performance, reliability, and maintainability Comfortable taking ownership and operating independently Experience with AWS or other cloud-based production environments Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Bonus Points For Telephony, VoIP, call routing, or communications platforms Twilio, Sinch, or similar providers Real-time systems, event-driven architecture, queues, or worker-based services Redis, RabbitMQ, or live operational workflows Improving legacy systems while continuing to ship new functionality Exposure to AI-assisted workflows such as transcription, summarization, or automation Why this role stands out This is an opportunity to work on a live platform that supports real operational activity and directly impacts the business.
