What you'll do We're looking for a Senior iOS Developer to lead the technical direction of Clara's iOS apps and help shape the future of our mobile platform across Latin America.

As a senior member of the Mobile Engineering – iOS team, you'll drive architecture decisions, set coding standards, and mentor high-performing developers as we scale to serve thousands of users.

In this role, you will: Define and own the long-term architecture of Clara's iOS applications.

Lead the design and implementation of advanced features using Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine.

Set and uphold technical standards across the iOS team to ensure performance, modularity, and maintainability.

Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to shape seamless, intuitive user experiences.

Guide and mentor engineers to support their technical growth.

Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role.

The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Must haves 7+ years of professional experience in iOS development, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.

Deep expertise with Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and Xcode.

Strong grasp of scalable architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.).

Experience with CI/CD, performance tuning, and building modular codebases.

Working proficiency in English and Spanish.

Proven ability to mentor other developers and uphold technical quality across a team.

Nice to haves Background in fintech or working in high-growth startups.

Familiarity with test automation and performance profiling for iOS.

Interest in AI tools to enhance development workflows.

Basic proficiency in Portuguese or a desire to learn.

Clara's Hybrid Policy Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home.

This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.

We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
