Senior Software Engineer, Backend HR Team

You'll contribute to shaping the architecture of our HR systems, ensuring they remain effective, scalable, and efficient.

In this role, you will work closely with the People team and external system consultants to design and build a seamless integration between our HRIS and our Payroll provider.

ABOUT THE TEAM At VTEX, you will be part of the People Systems team within the Tech Organization, a group dedicated to strengthening the technological support behind our People operations.

The team's mission is to optimize and innovate the systems that power key HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits, and payroll.

As a Software Engineer, you'll work closely with the People team to deeply understand their needs and develop effective, scalable solutions.

You'll also collaborate with other team members in a shared development environment, dive into the intricacies of our systems to identify opportunities for improvement, and engage with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to translate business needs into smart technical decisions.

WHO YOU ARE We're looking for a Software Engineer with strong backend experience and a collaborative mindset, focused on building scalable, cloud‑based solutions.

You should have:
