This is the jobIn Brazil, we are seeking a skilled Sysadmin with deep Kubernetes expertise to join our client, a leader in intelligent edge software solutions.

The role involves deploying and managing geographically distributed, production-grade Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure optimized for telecom and networking service providers.

You will apply your strong Linux, Kubernetes, and networking knowledge to deliver, extend, and support a client's platform, addressing complex challenges in edge cloud environments.

This is you4+ years of experience as a System administrator;Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, networking, and cluster management;Proven experience with Linux system configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring;Strong networking expertise, including network protocols, routing, switching, and VPN;Customer-facing experience with the ability to communicate and solve technical problems effectively;Software engineering experience related to telecom/data networking;Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields;Portuguese: level - upper intermediate or higher;English: level - upper intermediate or higher.

Nice-to-have skills:Kubernetes certification (CKA, CKSS, CKAD) is a plus;Familiarity with storage systems and cloud-native solutions is advantageous;Experience or familiarity with open-source tools such as Ansible, Python scripting, OpenStack, StarlingX, and version control with Git.

This is your roleDeploy, configure, and maintain a client's platform running on Kubernetes;Manage high-performance, geographically distributed, cloud-native infrastructure for telecom and networking customers;Troubleshoot and monitor Linux systems and Kubernetes clusters, focusing on networking and cloud edge environments;Collaborate directly with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions;Extend product features by working hands-on with platform deployment, hardware integration, and code testing;Apply software engineering skills focused on telecom and data networking environments;Contribute to open-source projects and leverage tools like Ansible, Python, OpenStack, StarlingX, Git, and Markdown;Support cloud infrastructure operations and optimize Kubernetes networking functionalities.
