Staff Engineer at BairesDev Join as a Staff Backend Engineer (Node.js + TypeScript) to shape the architecture of critical data infrastructure.

You'll lead complex technical initiatives, guide engineering teams, and solve challenging problems involving multi-tenant data flows, graph-based systems, and distributed architectures.

What You'll Do: - Lead architectural decisions for complex data moving projects and multi-tenant data flows. - Design and implement complex data pipelines and graph-based data structures. - Define and implement observability strategy for distributed systems. - Guide and mentor engineers on best practices for data architecture and interoperability.

What we are looking for: - 12+ years of experience in software engineering. - Strong proficiency in TypeScript with Node.js. - Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms including graph traversal, hashing, time complexity, and recursion. - Experience building data pipelines and ensuring interoperability across APIs and services. - Experience with buffer systems such as Redis. - Experience with queues including SQS/SNS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ. - Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Scalar, Axiom, or similar platforms. - Experience with multi-tenant data architecture. - Experience with serverless functions such as AWS Lambda. - Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice to have: - Experience with Python. - Experience with Elasticsearch. - Experience with schema validation using Zod, Joi, or JSON Schema. - Experience with event-driven data sync patterns including webhooks or delta syncs. - DevOps and CI/CD familiarity.
