Systems Engineer (Scheduling)

We are looking for a Scheduling and technical Specialist to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be the technical expert on our products, bridging the gap between our development team and our clients.

You will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the technical needs of our customers, providing in-depth knowledge, troubleshooting, and support throughout the product lifecycle.

You will also work with business development on proposals and product management defining product functionality.

Primary Responsibilities:Act as the primary technical expert for our products, providing detailed knowledge and support to clients and internal teams.

Responsible to provide assistance with or create schedules based on customer needs.

Be part of the product implementation team to define product helping to solve and report basic IT requirements, ensuring alignment with market and customer needs.

Assist business development in pre-sales demos and customer RFPs.

Work with Product Management and Engineering in Florence, Italy and North America to define new features and functionality.

Responsible for preparing and conducting in-person trainings for the customerAssist in product launch activities, including the creation of technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.

Analyze customer feedback and usage data to identify areas for product improvement and innovation.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product performance, working with engineering teams as needed.

Stay up to date with the latest IT trends and technologies to ensure our products remain competitive in the market.

Analyze product interfacing/API needs to support servicing our clients in the integration with third party systems.

Experience in data extraction and reports formatting of computerized systems.

Good knowledge of Database management systems.

Education & Experience: Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related fields.3-5 years of experience in a product specialist, technical support, or similar role, preferably in Logistics or Mobility area.

Good understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration.

Good level of proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with product management tools and software.

Fluent in English.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Education & Experience:Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related fields.3-5 years of experience in a product specialist, technical support, or similar role, preferably in Logistics or Mobility area.

Skills & Competencies:Good understanding of the J1939 and J1708 protocols and experience with Multiplex systemsAbility to independently gather and document requirements and provide design requirements and product definitionStrong computer skills particularly with MS Office including Word, Visio, JIRA, PowerPoint and Project.
