Ansible Consultant

The Red Hat India Services team is looking for a Consultant to join us in Brasilia, Brazil.

In this role, you will help us ensure that our engagements are not just a technology implementation, but an organizational transformation.

As a consultant, you will work with our lead architect in our engagements, cocreating innovative software solutions using emerging open source technology and modern software design methods in an agile environment.

You’ll be coached by the team to facilitate the design and technical delivery of our solutions.

As you do so, you’ll create enthusiasm for building great software using principles of open source and agile culture.

You'll support everything from the scoping to delivering the engagements.

What will you doImplementation of Ansible automation platformAssist in the feasibility study for the use cases and Ansible modules to create playbookEnsures service reliability meets users’ needs, including internally critical and externally visible servicesUses software & systems engineering to design, build, and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systemsInterfaces with both cloud IaaS and SaaS providers and internal stakeholders, including Support, IT, and Product Engineering, to achieve desired outcomes.

Participates in an on-call rotation within a geographically distributed team to provide 24x7x365 production support, with responsibility to respond to urgent customer issuesPractice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems Work within a small agile team to develop and improve SRE methodologies, support your peers, plan and self-improveWork as a trusted adviser to our customers and use your critical thinking skills to tackle tough problems in an innovative wayTrain and coach team members both on technical and non-technical skillsSupport presales and post-sales field teams during workshops, proofs of concepts, pilots, and production deploymentsActively contribute to and guide the creation of reference architectures, design considerations, and best practicesWhat will you bringHands on Ansible playbook developementExperienced and handson skill on linux bash scriptingKnowledge and some experience in OpenShift by Red Hat, kubernetes; Experience with another Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution will also be consideredHands on experience using Cloud as a development environmentGood technical skills and experience designing and implementing automation solutions.
