Job Title - Cloud Operations Engineer – EWOK (RTB & Support)
Location - São Paulo, Brazil (hybrid role requiring 2 to 3 days of onsite work per week)
About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to provide run-the-business (RTB) support for the EWOK platform. You will keep the service reliable through strong operational ownership while contributing to feature development.
This role suits an engineer who takes pride in operational excellence — someone who is as comfortable resolving a production incident as they are shipping an improvement that prevents the next one.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide on-call and RTB support for the EWOK platform.
• Contribute to feature development and platform improvements.
• Support tech refresh and security initiatives.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across application and infrastructure layers.
• Strengthen monitoring, alerting, and operational documentation.
• Uphold engineering quality and operational best practices.
Tech Stack
• Languages: Go (Golang), Python, Java, Scala
• AWS services: Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, and related infrastructure
• Cloud deployment and infrastructure fundamentals
• Observability, on-call, and incident tooling
Required Skills & Experience
• 5–10 years of professional software or cloud operations engineering experience.
• Proven, verifiable results operating production services — e.g., measurable reliability gains, faster incident resolution, or automation that reduced operational load.
• Strong programming skills in Go and Python; Java or Scala a plus.
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud deployment at the infrastructure and engineering level.
• Comfortable with cloud infrastructure fundamentals (Lambda, VPC, deployment flows).
• Very comfortable with on-call rotations and RTB operations.
• Experience building and/or leveraging AI agents (e.g., agentic workflows, LLM-based automation, AI-assisted engineering tools) to improve productivity and outcomes.
What We Look For
• Strong sense of ownership — takes end-to-end responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks.
• Self-motivated and proactive; able to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• A good team player who collaborates effectively across teams, geographies, and time zones.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable results in previous roles.
