Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to become part of our team.

You will take charge of the full strategy, design, and operations of the enterprise cloud networking environment. This position involves crafting repeatable, secure, and scalable connectivity patterns that support the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) and empower development teams to operate swiftly while maintaining governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee global Cloud WAN segments, network function groups, routing domains, and CIDR allocations
• Take ownership of the cloud IP strategy alongside enterprise networking to avoid address conflicts and secure long-term scalability
• Establish, document, and advocate for standard connectivity patterns, covering VPC peering, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN segment alignment, firewall integrations, ZTNA, and private endpoints
• Sustain service-driven application layer routing and assess emerging technologies such as VPC Lattice for automation potential
• Work alongside security and infrastructure teams to ensure connectivity designs satisfy policy, performance, and resiliency standards
• Resolve complex connectivity challenges and lead root-cause analysis across cloud and hybrid setups
• Assist migration efforts that shift workloads from legacy networks to standardized Cloud WAN and Cloud Firewall designs
• Build networking guardrails into the developer self-service model to prevent custom "snowflake" implementations

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Solid foundation in large-scale network engineering with a focus on public cloud, ideally with AWS
• Deep proficiency in VPC architectures, subnetting, routing, segmentation, and IP address management (IPAM)
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating AWS Cloud WAN, Transit Gateway, VPC peering, Direct Connect, site-to-site VPNs, and hybrid networking patterns
• Acquaintance with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) concepts and integrations involving cloud firewalls
• Strong grasp of network security controls, observability, and performance tuning
• Capability to create reusable design blueprints and embed them into self-service workflows
• Excellent collaboration skills for partnering with enterprise networking, security, and application teams
• Outstanding spoken and written English communication skills (B2+ level or higher)
