Overview

Rex.zone is hiring Mid-Senior engineers for remote, full-time computer coding jobs in Brazil. You will build and maintain production software in a remote-first workflow with online collaboration, code reviews, and documented engineering standards.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain software features aligned to product requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to clarify specs and edge cases
• Write production-quality code with security, performance, and readability in mind
• Create and maintain automated tests (unit/integration) and improve coverage
• Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and technical debt reduction
• Build and maintain APIs, services, and data integrations
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust fixes
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes to improve deployment safety
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Mid-Senior experience delivering production software in a team environment
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python) and modern web practices
• Strong Git workflows, pull requests, and code review standards
• Experience with REST APIs, database design, and SQL
• Knowledge of testing strategies, debugging, and performance tuning
• Clear communication in a remote, async-first environment
