Motorola Solutions Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) provides trusted security technologies to organizations worldwide. Job Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist – Business Analytics & AI to help shape the future of data-driven decision-making within our VS&A business unit. In this role, you will combine advanced analytics, AI technologies, and strong business acumen to translate complex customer, subscription, ERP, CRM, and financial datasets into actionable outcomes. You will work across enterprise platforms to build predictive models, leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), and implement solutions powered by Priority Intelligence™ and Assist to empower sales leaders and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Analytics & AI Innovation

• Design and develop advanced analytical solutions and machine learning models that drive sales effectiveness, customer retention, and revenue growth
• Evaluate and implement Large Language Model (LLM) workflows and AI tools using Priority Intelligence™ frameworks to augment business decision-making
• Analyze customer lifecycle data, subscriptions, entitlements, assets, orders, and usage trends to uncover actionable insights
  
  

Enterprise Data Architecture & API Integration

• Develop scalable data products and analytical frameworks across enterprise platforms including Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, and Oracle
• Build REST APIs and data integrations that enable automated analytics workflows and seamless data access
• Partner with Data Engineering teams to observe ETL pipelines, data lineage, and downstream impacts of transformations
  
  

Business Decision Support & Validation

• Validate source system data and business logic to help to ensure analytical outputs accurately reflect operational reality
• Investigate data anomalies, reconcile system discrepancies, and maintain data trustworthiness across business domains
• Communicate technical concepts, financial implications, and predictive insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
  

Basic Requirements

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative field
• 2+ years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Business Intelligence

Technical Expertise

• SQL & Relational Databases to write complex queries, aggregate enterprise datasets, and analyze database structures
• Python Development to build analytics pipelines, machine learning models, automation scripts, and REST APIs
• REST API Integration to connect external data sources and automate analytical workflows
• Predictive & ML Modeling to design statistical models, forecast trends, and analyze customer behaviors
• English Communication to articulate technical findings, explain business implications, and collaborate with global stakeholders in written and spoken English
  
  

Professional Experience

• Cross-System Analytics to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize complex datasets across enterprise ecosystems
• Problem Solving to independently investigate ambiguous business challenges from concept through execution
• Stakeholder Influence to translate analytical findings into clear business choices for leadership teams
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, or AI-enabled analytics solutions
• Experience working with Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms
• Experience with Tableau or enterprise visualization platforms
• Understanding of ETL pipelines, data architecture, and data modeling concepts
• Experience supporting sales, finance, revenue operations, customer success, or go-to-market organizations
• Understanding of revenue, bookings, subscriptions, renewals, customer hierarchies, and financial reporting
• Experience reconciling data across systems to identify root causes of data quality issues
• Experience building and deploying production-grade analytical or machine learning solutions
