This role is designed for a senior frontend engineer who will contribute to building scalable, high-performance digital experiences used by millions of users.

You will work closely with product, design, and data teams to create intuitive solutions focused on usability, accessibility, and performance.

The position involves developing modern React applications, designing reusable components, and improving existing platforms through clean and efficient code.

You will participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions that influence the evolution of frontend solutions.

Accountabilities

The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving high-quality web applications while ensuring excellent user experiences, scalability, and maintainability. The role requires strong technical ownership, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to evolve complex frontend ecosystems.

• Participate in regular brainstorming sessions focused on user experience, data analysis, and workflow improvements with designers, product owners, and data specialists.
• Develop creative frontend solutions aligned with business needs and user experience goals.
• Build responsive pages, reusable components, and scalable frontend architectures.
• Improve digital experiences for applications serving large user bases.
• Develop and maintain integrations with RESTful APIs.
• Review pull requests and provide technical feedback to improve code quality and team practices.
• Analyze legacy applications and contribute to their evolution and modernization.
• Apply frontend best practices related to performance, accessibility, usability, and maintainability.
• Monitor and optimize application performance using tools such as Lighthouse and GTmetrix, analyzing key metrics including FCP, LCP, CLS, FID, and request waterfalls.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, including micro-frontend strategies and implementation approaches.
• Develop and maintain automated testing practices, including unit tests, integration tests, and code quality checks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development workflows and technical standards.
  
  

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced frontend professional with strong knowledge of modern JavaScript ecosystems, React development, software architecture, and performance optimization. This position requires technical depth, attention to quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively in agile environments.

• More than 4 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries such as Next.js, Redux, Styled Components, and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, and software architecture concepts.
• Experience with Design Systems and component-based development.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Single Page Applications (SPA), and Static Site Generation (SSG).
• Experience developing accessible web applications following WCAG standards (A, AA, and AAA levels).
• Knowledge of SEO, GEO, web analytics, tagging, and digital experience optimization.
• Experience writing automated tests, including unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and modern software architecture practices.
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures, including:
• Server-side template composition.
• Build-time integration.
• Runtime integration through iframes.
• Runtime integration through JavaScript.
• Runtime integration through Web Components.
• Module Federation.
• Ability to collaborate with designers, product teams, and engineering stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and focus on delivering high-quality user experiences.
