Accountabilities

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications while ensuring quality, performance, and reliability throughout the development lifecycle.

• Analyze and implement improvements, enhancements, and technical requests according to business and system needs.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve software issues across applications and environments.
• Develop, maintain, and correct application code using Java technologies across frontend and backend components.
• Work with SQL queries, database interactions, and application integrations to support system functionality.
• Perform testing activities to validate fixes, updates, and new implementations in development and testing environments.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, DBAs, and other technical professionals to design effective solutions.
• Support application stability in production environments by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving technical challenges.
• Analyze and optimize application performance to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge bases, and development standards.
• Support integrations and deployments across different environments.
  
  

Requirements

The ideal candidate has solid experience in Java development, software engineering practices, and enterprise application environments, with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields, or a degree in another area combined with a postgraduate qualification in IT.
• Professional experience developing software using Java (JSE and JEE).
• Experience with software version control tools such as Git, SVN, or CVS.
• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web service development.
• Experience developing interfaces using Angular, SPA (Single Page Applications), and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of digital certification solutions, including digital signatures for information and documents.
• Experience with reporting tools such as IReport and JasperReports.
• Familiarity with PrimeFaces, CDI, jQuery, JUnit, Arquillian, and REST technologies.
• Experience working with application servers such as JBoss and WebLogic.
• Knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in technical teams.
