We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Engineering Operations).

In this role you will:

• Maintain and extend the on prem Zapp Store platform, including deployments, routing, authentication, and container lifecycle management
• Improve and scale deployment patterns for containerized applications across current and future orchestration technologies
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Enhance monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Traefik metrics
• Develop tooling and automation to onboard new applications
• Support hybrid cloud integration between on prem infrastructure and Azure services
• Implement consistent configuration, secrets management, and deployment patterns across environments
• Document runbooks, SOPs, and architecture decisions and reduce manual operations through automation

Mandatory Skills:

• Linux systems experience in platform/DevOps environments
• Docker and container orchestration (Podman/Docker; Apptainer is a plus)
• CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Reverse proxy and service routing (Traefik, nginx, or similar)
• Bash and Python scripting for automation

Tools/Tecnologies:

• Kubernetes (on prem or AKS)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Azure cloud services
• CLI or internal tooling development (Python, C, Rust, or similar)
• Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience in life sciences or R&D environments
