About the Opportunity

We are seeking Data Engineers to join a large-scale data modernization initiative for a leading Financial Services organization.

This is a greenfield project focused on building an enterprise data platform from the ground up, integrating more than 30 operational systems into a modern Lakehouse architecture powered by Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies.

The selected professionals will be responsible for developing data ingestion, transformation, and modeling solutions that will support enterprise analytics, KPI reporting, and future Business Intelligence initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a strategic, long-term transformation project using cutting-edge cloud data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Develop and maintain data pipelines integrating data from 30+ enterprise source systems

✔️ Build and support modern Lakehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies

✔️ Implement source-to-target mappings for business entities, dimensions, and fact tables

✔️ Develop ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF)

✔️ Create scalable and maintainable data transformation solutions using Python and SQL

✔️ Support the development of semantic models and KPI-driven data structures

✔️ Perform data quality validation and unit testing

✔️ Collaborate closely with Architects, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders

✔️ Troubleshoot and optimize data processing performance, reliability, and scalability

✔️ Follow established development standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

🔹 3–5 years of professional Data Engineering experience

🔹 Strong experience with Azure-based data platforms

🔹 Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)

🔹 Strong Python programming skills

🔹 Advanced SQL development skills

🔹 Experience with Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling, and Lakehouse concepts

🔹 Experience integrating multiple enterprise systems and data sources

🔹 Strong understanding of data quality validation and unit testing practices

🔹 Ability to work independently within distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications

✨ Experience with Microsoft Fabric

✨ Experience with Databricks

✨ Experience building enterprise data platforms on Azure

✨ Experience developing semantic models and KPI frameworks

✨ Experience supporting enterprise analytics initiatives

✨ Power BI knowledge is a plus

✨ Financial Services industry experience is highly desirable
