🚀 Senior Data Engineer / BI Engineer

Fluent English is mandatory for this position.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / BI Engineer to design, build, and maintain corporate data solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

This strategic role supports critical corporate environments and official, operational, and management reporting. You will work closely with backend teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational and dimensional data models for Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, views, functions, and complex queries using T-SQL.
• Perform performance tuning, including index optimization, execution plan analysis, and concurrency management.
• Develop and maintain corporate reports in SSRS, including paginated reports, subreports, dynamic parameters, and expressions.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for data loading, transformation, and consolidation.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and governance.
• Work closely with backend teams and understand integrations, APIs, and data flows.
• Support business teams in defining metrics, KPIs, and information models.
• Document data models, reports, and data flows.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent English.
• Senior-level experience in critical, structured corporate environments.

SQL Server and Data Modeling

• Strong, proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced T-SQL skills.
• Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling, including Star Schema, Snowflake, facts, dimensions, and historical data (SCD).

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

• Required, proven experience with SSRS.
• Experience creating and maintaining paginated reports, subreports, complex parameters and filters, expressions, and advanced formatting.
• Knowledge of SSRS report performance, security, and deployment.

ETL and Integration

• Experience with ETL and data pipelines; SSIS or an equivalent tool is preferred.
• Experience with incremental loads, reprocessing, and failure handling.

Microsoft Backend Technologies

• Experience with .NET / C# for reading, maintaining, or developing basic services and APIs.
• Experience integrating applications with SQL Server, as well as working with jobs, services, and batch processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with backend teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure, including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and App Services.
• Knowledge of Power BI as a complementary reporting and consumption layer.
• Experience in Shared Services or large corporate environments.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, or logistics.
