Full-Stack Engineer - LATAM

Our engineering team at Space Inch is growing! We are looking for talented engineers to join the company, and help drive our technical initiatives forward. Following a string of successful hires, we're again expanding our engineering team.

We're currently looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to one of our longest-running and most successful projects. You'll be part of an established Space Inch engineering team while also collaborating closely with our client's team - a major global FinTech corporation in the field of investment management with multiple long-term initiatives underway.

For this position, we're not looking for someone who has mastered a single stack and plans to stay there. We're looking for someone who views programming languages as tools and is excited about leveraging modern AI workflows to build impactful solutions.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience: Experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, or Vue.js is a plus, but we value your ability to adapt to new stacks and collaborate with the team to ship value in the technology best suited for the project
• Tech-Agnostic Mindset: A strong foundation in core development principles (OOP, functional programming, clean code, architecture) rather than being tied to a single language or framework
• AI-Augmented Workflow: Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.) as a natural part of your workflow, to accelerate development, learn new stacks quickly, and automate routine tasks
• Adaptability: Ability to broaden or shift technical focus to meet evolving project goals - whether front-end, back-end, or new technologies
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  
  

• Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to deeply understand and clarify business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Navigate the entire product lifecycle as a full-stack engineer: from requirements gathering, scoping, and planning, through to implementation and deployment, leveraging advanced AI tools to accelerate and optimize every stage
• Break down and explain technical concepts clearly during client interactions and team discussions
• Move fluidly across the application layers, utilizing AI tools to rapidly upskill and deliver on varied engineering challenges. While our primary stack is TypeScript/Vue.js on the frontend and Java or Python on the backend, we value strong foundational engineering skills that allow you to adapt as project directions evolve
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code guided by strong development principles
• Conduct code reviews and actively participate in team knowledge sharing
