Full Stack Engineer

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are currently looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build our omnichannel experience — the platforms and tools that bring our massive physical footprint into the digital world. We built our business on storefronts and in-person service; this team builds the applications that serve those customers online.

You'd own the services powering our digital channels: designing and scaling the APIs and customer-facing applications that handle millions of transactions.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain C# .NET Core/.NET Framework REST APIs and Vue.js web applications serving our digital channels.
• Design API contracts and client-side state as a single concern, so data flows cleanly between client and server.
• Write clean, scalable code on both frontend and backend using standard software design patterns and best practices.
• Design and integrate third-party services into our application to support business needs.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and developers to meet project deadlines.
• Analyze opportunities for improvements in our application and process flow using production telemetry.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and a plan for delivery.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Proficiency with C# and .NET (Core/Framework) or any comparable object-oriented programming language.
• Proficiency with Vue.js, React, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and Git/Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, relational databases, and SDLC.
• Experience with debugging, performance profiling, and optimization.
• Able to manage time across multiple tasks, independently or with the team.
• Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills.
• Writes documentation as part of shipping, not after — API contracts, architecture decisions, and runbooks the team can actually use.
