About The Opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing company in the eCommerce and print industry, operating at scale with a modern, cloud-native platform built on .NET and React. You'll join a distributed engineering team responsible for evolving a complex microservices architecture on Azure — working across the full stack, from backend APIs and event-driven services to polished React frontends. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where technical decisions matter and the work ships to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using .NET/ASP.NET Core (C#) within a microservices and event-driven architecture
• Build and maintain modern React/TypeScript frontends, collaborating closely with product and design
• Architect and consume event-driven workflows using Azure Service Bus, with experience in messaging patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ a plus)
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure — including App Services, Functions, AKS, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor
• Apply architectural patterns such as DDD, CQRS, Clean Architecture, and hexagonal architecture in real production systems
• Ensure observability and reliability through OpenTelemetry, App Insights, and structured logging
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in .NET/ASP.NET Core (C#) — backend APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture in production
• Solid experience with React and TypeScript in production — not just exposure
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (Service Bus, App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, AKS)
• Familiarity with SQL Server and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Experience with architectural patterns: DDD, CQRS, Clean Architecture or similar
• Comfort with Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, and modern CI/CD practices
• Advanced to Fluent English proficiency — able to communicate clearly in an international, distributed team

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs into product features — Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, RAG pipelines, Semantic Kernel, or Azure AI Search
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with OpenTelemetry and observability tooling at scale
• Knowledge of event sourcing patterns
• Background in eCommerce or high-throughput, customer-facing platforms
