Mid .NET Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid .NET Developer based in Brazil.

In this role, you will join a collaborative engineering team focused on building and evolving modern backend systems that power scalable, high-impact benefits solutions used by global customers. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, testing, and support of cloud-ready applications built with modern .NET technologies. The environment emphasizes clean architecture, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to solve real customer problems and improve system performance and reliability. This is a hands-on development role where you will also contribute to engineering best practices such as TDD, microservices design, and observability. The team values curiosity, knowledge sharing, and ongoing learning of modern tools and frameworks. It is a fast-paced, quality-driven environment where your contributions directly shape the evolution of critical business systems.

Accountabilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET and C#.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to microservices-based and modern engineering practices.
• Improve system reliability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of production applications.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and contribute to continuous optimization of existing systems and processes.
• Apply engineering best practices such as TDD, BDD, and clean code principles in daily development work.
• Work closely with senior engineers to review code, refine solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery.
  
  

Requirements

This role requires solid experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development using .NET technologies. Candidates should be comfortable working in collaborative teams, solving complex technical problems, and continuously improving their engineering skills. A strong understanding of APIs, databases, and modern web development practices is essential. You should also be open to learning new technologies and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

• Strong experience in software development using C# and .NET.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices (TDD, BDD, clean architecture).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced team.
• Exposure to cloud or DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, etc.) is a plus.
