Platform Engineer

Position: Support/Platform Engineer

Level: Mid Level

Location: Brazil (Remote - can be anywhere in LATAM)

We are working with a technology-driven fintech company looking for a Support/Platform Engineer to join their fully remote team.

In this role, you will design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure, enable

reliable deployments, and improve platform resilience. You will work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to support high-traffic, production-grade systems.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, automation, and improving

systems end-to-end—from infrastructure provisioning to monitoring and incident response.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.

• 2+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services.

• Strong understanding of containerization and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with observability tools (metrics, logs, tracing).

• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.

• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.

• Golang programming basics

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS.

• Operate and scale Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS).

• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.

• Build, improve, and secure CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment reliability and speed.

• Ensure system reliability and performance through monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.

• Work on networking, security, and identity components of the platform.

• Collaborate with backend, platform, and security teams on shared infrastructure initiatives.

• Write automation and platform tooling, primarily in Golang.

• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Strong plus:

• Pulumi written in Golang

• Experience with multi region application deployments (multi eks and RDS)

• ArgoCD for gitops

• Strong Golang Experience

• Argo Workflow experience

• Granfa, loki, Victoria Metrics (prometheus compatible), Sentry
