Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Python GCP Engineer to develop and support cloud-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python, GCP, and Generative AI technologies, including Gemini.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Python applications on GCP.
• Lead production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Manage releases, rollbacks, and platform stability.
• Optimize AI token usage and platform costs.
• Improve prompts, retrieval strategies, and AI guardrails.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Python development experience.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Gemini or other Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.

Preferred Skills

• Vertex AI, Cloud Run, or GKE.
• Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Google Cloud Certification (preferred).
