Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote - LatinAmerica

We’re looking for a We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the evolution of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices.

This role combines hands-on work with technical leadership, helping assess the current environment, define best practices, and improve overall DevOps maturity.

You’ll be working in partnership with a technology company focused on improving operations and user experience within the youth sports space, supporting the build of a scalable, high-performing engineering organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software deliveryLead infrastructure and automation initiatives across cloud environmentsDefine and implement DevOps best practices, including infrastructure as code, monitoring, and deployment strategiesAssess current infrastructure and provide recommendations for modernization and optimizationSupport containerization strategies and scalable cloud architecturesEstablish and improve monitoring, observability, and reliability practicesCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between development and operationsContribute to building a high-performing, distributed engineering teamEnsure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-effectiveCore RequirementsStrong experience with DevOps and cloud infrastructureHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelinesExperience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with containerization technologies (e.g.

Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolsStrong understanding of monitoring, observability, and system reliabilityExperience working in distributed teamsAbility to assess and improve existing infrastructure and processesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentNice-to-HaveExperience with infrastructure modernization or cloud migrationsExperience building or scaling DevOps practices from early stagesExperience supporting rapid team growth and scaling environmentsExposure to cost optimization strategies in cloud environments to lead the evolution of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices.
