Senior Frontend Engineer (React Focused)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React Focused) based in Brazil.

You will join a high-performing engineering environment focused on building scalable, modern web applications for enterprise clients.

The role sits within an Agile Scrum team where collaboration between frontend, backend, product, and UX is constant and fast-paced.

You will take ownership of complex user-facing features and help translate business requirements into intuitive digital experiences.

A strong emphasis is placed on performance, code quality, and building reusable UI components across projects.

You will work closely with technical leads and architects to refine frontend standards and improve development practices.

This is a fully remote opportunity offering autonomy, technical challenge, and exposure to modern JavaScript ecosystems.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance web applications using React and modern JavaScript, ensuring robust and scalable frontend architecture.

• Develop and maintain complex user-facing features using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Own end-to-end implementation, including testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with UX designers and Product Owners to translate requirements into responsive UI solutions.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and coordinate with backend engineers to ensure seamless data flow.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to frontend architecture standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and help refine user stories into deliverable increments.
• Evaluate and improve frontend tooling, performance, and development practices.
  
  

Requirements

You should bring strong frontend engineering experience, deep React expertise, and the ability to work effectively in Agile, cross-functional teams.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong focus on React and JavaScript.
• Solid experience with NodeJS and modern frontend development practices.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, LESS, and Bootstrap for enterprise-grade UI development.
• Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest or equivalent tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication skills with advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Ownership mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach.
