Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Company Insights and Connections (CIC) organization. The team supports SEO marketing initiatives and collaborates closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, and Marketing stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. This role is primarily frontend-focused, with opportunities to contribute to backend development as needed. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, scoping work, estimating timelines, and delivering features end-to-end.

Location & Time Zone:

Compatible with the Austin, TX time zone. LATAM candidates strongly preferred. US-based candidates may also be considered.

Language Requirements:

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

Scope of Work:

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications with a primary focus on frontend development. Build new features and enhance existing functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions. Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and effort estimation. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues. Deliver high-quality, maintainable code while working independently.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong frontend development experience with React.
• Experience with TypeScript or modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and maintaining full-stack web applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Strong English communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working on customer-facing web applications.
• Familiarity with SEO, content platforms, or marketing-related products.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is a senior, frontend-focused Full Stack Engineer with strong React and TypeScript (or modern JavaScript) experience, along with working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot. They should be comfortable owning work independently, communicating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and contributing to both frontend and backend engineering efforts when needed.
