Job Summary

This role is heavily focused on cross-platform mobile development using React Native, while also requiring solid understanding of native mobile development concepts for both iOS and Android environments.

The ideal candidate has strong experience working with mobile advertising ecosystems, video player integrations, and content-heavy applications at scale. Candidates with previous experience in media, publishing, streaming, or broadcast environments are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
• Integrate and maintain mobile advertising solutions such as Google Ad Manager (GAM), DoubleClick, or similar ad stack technologies.
• Work with video playback technologies and SDKs including native players, Video.js, JW Player, or similar solutions.
• Implement performant, responsive, and reliable mobile user experiences for content-heavy applications.
• Debug and resolve issues across both React Native and native mobile layers when necessary.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and mobile engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

Minimum Qualifications

• Advanced level of written and oral English proficiency.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and the React ecosystem.
• Experience working directly with native mobile code when needed: iOS: Swift and/or Objective-C,Android: Java and/or Kotlin
• Experience integrating and maintaining mobile ad stack technologies such as: Google Ad Manager (GAM),DoubleClick, Mobile advertising SDKs
• Experience working with mobile video technologies and SDKs such as: JW Player, Native video players, Video.js
• Streaming/video playback integrations
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party mobile SDKs.
• Solid understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of Agile development principles.
