Senior Mobile Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer based in Brazil.

This role sits at the core of a high-impact mobile product used in fast-paced, real-world logistics operations. You will build and evolve native mobile applications that power critical delivery workflows used by drivers and end customers every day. The work directly impacts reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across large-scale operations. You’ll operate in a collaborative, product-led environment alongside designers, product managers, and engineers. The focus is on solving complex mobile challenges such as offline usage, device integration, and real-time tracking. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys building robust, high-quality software that performs under real-world constraints.

Accountabilities

You will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of native mobile applications that support end-to-end delivery operations.

• Build and maintain native mobile features for iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin), ensuring performance, reliability, and usability at scale
• Develop key user flows such as scanning, notifications, navigation, and real-time delivery tracking
• Improve and modernize existing codebases through refactoring, architectural enhancements, and technical debt reduction
• Ensure strong test coverage and integrate automated testing as a standard part of development
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features from concept to production release
• Contribute to technical decision-making and help shape mobile engineering best practices
  
  

Requirements

You are a seasoned mobile engineer with strong experience building and evolving native mobile applications in production environments.

• Proven experience in native mobile development (iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin) with a focus on maintainable architecture
• Strong background in improving and refactoring existing codebases
• Solid understanding of software testing practices and commitment to quality engineering
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional product teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to align with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working remotely and independently, while contributing actively in team collaboration formats
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• 5+ years of mobile development experience is a strong plus
• Interest in complex operational or logistics-driven products is an advantage
