Finch is becoming the system of agreement for insurance claims—the infrastructure layer where claim state is normalized, decisions are driven by data, and settlement friction disappears.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join Finch team. This role will be critical in building and evolving a highly scalable platform that processes large volumes of data and leverages advanced AI models.

You will work end to end on product development, with a high level of autonomy, contributing directly to technical and architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using TypeScript, Next.js, and NestJS
• Build systems from scratch, from initial concept through production
• Work with large-scale data pipelines, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement and evolve features powered by LLMs and AI agents
• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices
• Collaborate closely with product, understanding business context and proposing technical solutions
  
  

Technical requirements

• Strong experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Next.js (frontend) and NestJS (backend)
• Strong and recent experience (within the last year) using LLMs in production
• Basic to intermediate understanding of Machine Learning concepts
• Experience building AI agents
• Proven ability to design and build systems from the ground up
• Experience handling very large volumes of data
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning in high-scale environments
