As a Senior Software Engineer, you will plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

You'll report to the VP, Engineering, Global Registration & Licenses.

This is a remote opportunity.

POSITION: Senior Software Engineer WORK LOCATION: Durham, NC What Your Responsibilities Will Be JOB DUTIES: Plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

Debug software products through systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.

Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing.

Analyze and write test standards and procedures.

Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.

Consult with development engineers to resolve problems.

Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.

Ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.

How We’ll Take Care Of You TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 40+ hours per week; $177,600 Base pay may be based on various factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee’s role.
