Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python, web development, cloud services, and backend architecture.

The professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Python-based applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices. This position requires practical experience with AWS services, Linux environments, source control practices, and collaborative software development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and backend services.

• Build and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

• Develop web applications using Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, Django, Dash, or Streamlit.

• Integrate applications with AWS cloud services and support scalable deployment architectures.

• Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Elastic Load Balancing, backup, and restore mechanisms.

• Support application deployment, troubleshooting, and operational activities in Linux server environments.

• Create and maintain shell scripts for automation, operational support, and environment administration.

• Manage source code repositories using Git and GitHub, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development practices.

• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver reliable and maintainable software solutions.

• Contribute to technical documentation, coding standards, and software engineering best practices.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development using Python.

• Strong knowledge of Python web frameworks, such as Flask, FastAPI, Django, Dash, or Streamlit.

• Solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed application concepts.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially EC2, S3, RDS, Elastic Load Balancing, and backup and restore processes.

• Experience working with Linux server environments, including file system navigation, process management, service management, and shell scripting.

• Strong proficiency with Git and GitHub, including version control, branching workflows, pull requests, and collaborative code management.

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.

• Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

• Familiarity with software testing practices, including unit and integration testing.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
