ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Software Engineer (Web) to build and ship a unified franchisee portal web application using ReactJS. You will own complex and critical web-specific functionalities and user interfaces, write clean and well-tested TypeScript code, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot production issues. The role includes using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot to support code scaffolding, testing, documentation, and solution prototyping.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and ship the unified franchisee portal web application using ReactJS;
- Own complex and critical web-specific functionalities and user interfaces;
- Write clean, well-tested TypeScript code and maintain high standards through code reviews and documentation;
- Optimize web application performance for speed, responsiveness, and memory usage;
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues;
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot to generate code scaffolding, write and review tests, create documentation, and prototype solutions;
- Participate in Agile or product-centric delivery practices, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

MUST HAVES
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience;
- Solid experience developing software with JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS;
- Experience building complex web interfaces and managing state in web applications;
- Familiarity with REST APIs and service-based architectures;
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and data persistence concepts;
- Experience developing high-quality, maintainable code while adhering to secure coding standards and industry security best practices;
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an engineering team;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
