• Design, implement, and optimize advanced Python code for production-level systems
• Analyze and manipulate structured datasets to support engineering and modeling workflows
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data
• Review, debug, and improve existing codebases for performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Translate ambiguous, high-level requirements into concrete, well-reasoned technical solutions
• Evaluate tradeoffs and recommend best-fit approaches with a consulting-style mindset
• Document assumptions, decisions, and implementation details with clarity and precision
  
  

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Advanced Python proficiency — clean architecture, performance optimization, and debugging
• Strong data analysis experience working with real-world, complex datasets
• Solid SQL skills including complex queries, transformations, and data validation
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience, with the ability to reason through open-ended problems independently
  
  

• Experience working with large, messy, or high-volume datasets
• Familiarity with backend systems, REST APIs, or data pipeline architecture
• Comfort evaluating AI-generated code or analytical outputs
• Strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
