Software Engineer

You are an amazing software engineer that loves taking new ideas and algorithms and applying them in creative ways. We are small, fast growing, eager to build relevant technology solutions that empower people and businesses, at scale. Some of our products are in finance, education, IoT and healthcare, but we are excited about building so much more with your help. We are passionate about making the mundane magical: building everyday apps that put people first and quietly solve problems using sophisticated technology. As a team member, we want people who are excited to build applications with very little formal direction. We are not partial to specific languages or technologies. General Responsibilities

• You’ll contribute in all areas. You might choose to go deep in one aspect of the product, but like your teammates you’ll make a habit of working across the stack, frequently picking up new languages and platforms as needed.
• You will have significant input into our product development. Your ideas will always be heard.
• Participate in the design and development of product features.
• Inspect, and analyze reported bugs and defects.
• Develop meaningful business relationships with customers, conduct deep discovery, align our products and services with customer needs, and set thorough expectations to allow for long term success.
• Deliver one or more requirements on time.
• Participating in periodical plans to deliver business and IT goals.
• Accurately record all required information and customer interactions.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in the technology sector.
• Firm understanding of web programming fundamentals, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience working with frameworks, object-oriented programming and knowledge of version control systems.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Write high-quality code to technical and functional specifications.
• Good phone, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Thrives in a high‐tech, fast‐paced, team‐oriented environment.
• Exudes enthusiasm, a positive attitude, self‐motivation, and strong work ethic.
• Demonstrable high-energy initiative and willingness to learn.
